Immediately Exportable, Upgradeable Security

SC20-416 offers voice privacy technology that is immediately exportable to most international markets. Prior to upgrading, the 416 series offers medium voice privacy by hopping codes an average of once per second. With export license approval, international customers can simply purchase upgrade software to increase the scrambler's hop rate to 250 times per second (SC20-430) or even 1,000 times per second (SC20-460) for a greater level of security. Remote upgrades require using a Excalibur TR30-3060 series modem, which enables security updates while the radios are in the field and operational.
