Hidden cameras, audio transmitters, vehicle trackers, and other sneaky devices all emit a RF (radio frequency). By using a bug detector you can track down the offending device and eliminate it.
The NFR2K has one of the widest frequency ranges we've seen in a long time. While a single bug detector will not detect all bugs, this one comes close. From 30MHz to 3GHz, this detector will tune in on just about anything commercially available that can transmit audio or video without your knowledge.
Cheap "Kit Transmitters" are very inexpensive and easy to build. Cell phones left behind with the auto answer feature enabled can be used as a bug with very little effort. This detector will let you know if those methods are being used so you can defeat them.
Signal Strength Meter
The signal strength meter gives you instant visual notification of the possibility of a bug. The closer you move to the suspected bug, the more signal strength will be indicated. The farther way you get from it, less will show.
Geiger Counter Notification
A pulsing Geiger counter type sound can be heard from the detector and works much like the signal strength meter. The closer you come to the bug, the faster the pulse/clicking noise will be.
Durable Metal Case
Housed in a durable metal case, this detector is made for the professional investigator.
Gain Controls
Audio and RF gain controls let you adjust the device from zero sensitivity to maximum sensitivity. This helps immensely when you start receiving false signals.
Earphone Jack
Since you could be bugged you'll want to use the earphone jack when tracking down bugs. Some bugs are remote controlled and can be turned off from another location making your detection efforts futile.
Free Carrying Case
Included with your purchase is a nylon carrying case to protect your investment.
